Freddy earned a "coaches selection" captain badge at the state tournament after four years with the team, three as a varsity starter. He was selected as a first team all conference defender despite only being able to play the second half of the season due to an injury he was rehabbing. He was hurt again during the state championship game and despite being in pain, gritted it out and played fantastic. He was the inspirational leader that led us to the title and represents why we were able to win it all this year!
